Quite a strange one...

I STILL can’t believe I got to go to the Big Brother house last Friday. It was an amazing experience but really surreal at the same time.

I was meant to be in the house with all of them. I kept on thinking it should have been me that the crowd is screaming for. Even so, it was a great experience.

The house is a lot smaller than it looks on television.

They really haven’t got much room.

When Charley walked out and we all had to be quiet it was so tempting to yell out.

Before we went on air we were told that we all had to be quiet when she first came out otherwise we would be removed.

We were right at the front, just at the spot where Davina was talking to the camera.

I didn’t manage to chat to Davina at the house. She was flanked by security.

However, I randomly bumped into former housemate Anthony in Topman. He was really nice and I told him that I should have been in this series.

He was good enough to pose for a picture and said it was the experience of his life.

The birthday party Big Brother threw this week was a great idea.

And getting them to clean up after made great television.

Power has shifted in Charley’s direction after she got evicted. She’s told everyone inside that she’s the most loved person, which is a load of rubbish. The others don’t know this though.

I think Big Brother has something up its sleeve.

Two people have left and weren’t replaced. I think there could be some more housemates coming in really soon.

Men about the house

The Big Brother house is definitely getting interesting now more guys have been put in the mix.
I really like two of the new guys — Brian and Liam — because they seem really fun and have thrown the game wide open.
Now it feels like the game’s started and we’re really getting to know the various characters.
It’s been a much more eventful week with Shabnam leaving and then four new men being brought in as competition for Ziggy.
I didn’t want her to go because she was a good character. Although she was annoying, she was great to watch and much more fun than some of the others.
Normally by now I would have a favourite to win but this year there’s not one person who stands out, which helps generate interest.
I know there will be more twists courtesy of Big Brother like the £100,000 give-away on Wednesday — I really didn’t expect that.
The three housemates up for eviction had to choose who should win it and I was glad they picked Liam because I like him a lot. He’s just a normal straight-talking guy who’s being himself in the house.
All the other housemates think he’s won the prize money which could change things. It will be interesting to see if anyone walks out now, almost like a test to see who’s in it for the money.
Out of the new guys, I don’t like Billi the model as he seems quite boring but could shake things up with Ziggy and Chanelle.
I still do not believe their relationship and think she can be quite fake.
Nicky’s always moaning or complaining so I still don’t like her either.
I know hardly anyone is a fan of Charley but I’m glad she’s not up for eviction this week because she’s funny to watch. We all want to see what she does and how she causes conflict in the house. But the moment she is up for eviction, I’m sure she’ll go.
Of the three facing the public vote this week, I hope Jonathan goes because he’s a miserable old man.
I think Carole’s getting more involved now and coming out of herself, and although Seany is annoying I like his pranks.

Emily Booted Out

I've just heard on the news that Emily Parr was kicked out of the house this morning for using a racially offensive word.

It doesn't suprise me one bit that they have been so strict with her! In the final stages of the auditions all potentional housemates are forced to sign a special contract stating that under no circumstances will racism be tolerated, even if it is meant in a 'joking' manner. Emily should have known this and known better than to use such a word!

I think that she spoke before she thought in this case and i imagine she will now be regretting it hugely!

Its a shame that Emily has left, she was one of my favourites! And the eviction has been cancelled on Friday so I'm hoping Big Brother will come up with something else to replace it, we will have to wait and see!

My Thoughts So Far...

Well I think the series is starting to take off a bit now, a few more episodes and we will be back to the usual of daily dramas!

I'm still very much loving Carole and Laura for always being happy, and Tracey because she is so honest, nothing seems to be fake with her. I also like Lesley, however she seems to bit getting all the airtime at the moment (I may soon get bored)!

Emily also seems to be a very 'real' person, doesn't look like she is playing up to the cameras at all which is what I like, might become a bit boring though, she better get acting to win those votes!!

Right, now for the people i can't stand! First of all we have Ziggy, we all had high expectations for the first man entering the house and he turned out to be boring, too nice for a show like Big Brother, he doesn't seem to have any character! I'm starting to sence the chemistry between Chanelle and Ziggy, I think it's obvious something will develop.
Next on my hate list is Charley. She's the cause of all arguments in the house so far, won't stop talking about herself, she think she's it, and in my opinion, will be back out them doors on the first eviction night!

The twins seem to have quietened down a bit since the first day in the house, maybe the original high pitched hyperness was an act they failed to keep up!
Shabnam, in my opinion, is making a big mistake palling off with Charley, if my prediction happens and Charley is booted out Shabnam will be a clear runner for the following weeks nominations.

That's just about it so far! Now this is all up and running I will try to post on here as often as I can!

It's started!

What a boring start to Big Brother.
I think it’s a crazy decision by producers to start off with just women in the house. I don’t agree with what they’ve done at all. Big Brother should be a mix of both sexes.

Surely that’s why people watch?

What it does mean is when just one chap is introduced into the house today, he’s going to have great power over those eight young girls.

I’m sure what’s going to happen is that he’ll get to choose which women he wants out, and which ones he wants to keep.

That way they can bring some more men into the house and things can get a bit more exciting.

I don’t know if it would have been me who they brought in as the token male. That could have been fun.

I sat watching it, trying to work it out. All the rest of the guys must still be in hiding. I am now wondering if all the other contestants are still out in Spain or if they have brought them all a bit closer to home.

I was quite surprised by the fact that I didn’t recognise any of the contestants on opening night. I thought that I would have at least met one of them.

And the thing is that some of them were from the South West and would have gone to the same audition.

The producers did very well at keeping people apart from each other. They wanted to make sure that we didn’t have any contact with fellow housemates before we went in.

It was a hard thing to do, but they seemed to do it all right in my case.

This series of Big Brother is only one day old and already you can see that the housemates are grouping off.

Of course you want to make sure that you have friends and that people will vote for you.

Then again, it’s difficult because you don’t want to join the wrong group.

The house is really looking good this series.

It’s a lot brighter and I’d love to be in the house with the others.

I think it could be a lot more fun this year. I reckon the bosses want to get away from all the problems of the celebrity series, but they still need people to watch.

The thing is that people love to moan about the programme. You can imagine them waiting until the show puts one foot wrong, then they’ll all be complaining.

But it’s the same people who watch it in the first place who do the moaning. If they don’t like it they should just switch off.

People love to complain but I think this series will be more popular this year than ever before.
